Beymar

As a church we sponsor a child called Beymar through Compassion UK.

He is 10 years old and lives with his father, mother and 2 siblings near La Paz in Bolivia (see map below). His father is employed when he can find work as a bricklayer and his mother looks after the home. Most adults in the area earn the equivilent of £32 per month. Beymar's community needs proper sanitation, technical schools and law enforcement. He attends school and a student centre run by Compassion.

Our sponsorship allows the staff of the student centre to provide Beymar with Bible teaching, hygiene campaigns, social events, field trips, tutoring, formal and non-formal education, medical examinations and nutritious food. The centre also provides informative meetings, workshops and nutritious food for Beymar's parents. We also send gifts and cards for Beymar's birthday and at Christmas and John Clarke writes periodically to Beymar.
