People we support
Rock Christian Centre donates at least 10% of the donations we receive to support aid and evangelistic projects in the UK and around the world. We provide regular financial and prayer support to a number of people who we have sent out from this church. We also donate money to other charitable organisations.

Beymar - A child we sponsor through Compassion UK. Click here to read more about Beymar.
We also support a couple in West Asia, where biblical faith in Jesus is illegal. Please pray that they would be kept safe, yet still have many opportunities to tell people about Jesus.

Shahzad Akhtar (Azra Clarke's brother)
Shahzad came to the UK in 2005 and studied at Mattersey Hall Bible College. He graduated in 2008. At that time he felt called to serve the Lord in Africa but wanted to complete a Masters Degree before doing this. He worked for the next 2 years as a security guard and later as a bus driver to earn money to pay for his course. In early 2010 Shahzad felt God was telling him strongly not to do his Masters, but to go to Africa when his visa expired in July 2010. So in July 2010 he went to work in a friends church in Niarobi, Kenya for 3 months. In October 2010 Shahzad will return to Pakistan and is hoping to return to Africa perminantly in early 2011. Please pray that God will open doors for Shahzad to return to Africa.
Interveiw with Shahzad Akhtar - 27th June 2010.
Keep up to date with Shahzad on facebook.
