Keep on keeping on

We are not a finished work. We are still under construction.

Do not be discouraged – Habakkuk 3:17- 19; 1 Samuel 30:6-8 – find strength in the Lord.
Forget the past – “forget” means lose the memory of. Do not let it be at the forefront. The past does not have to define us. Every day God’s mercies are new.
Press and reach forward – things will push back at us, but we need to strain to push forward and press on into what God has for us.
Take note of the goal – have your goal in sight.
Stay in your place in Christ – Proverbs 27:8. Do not be found outside of Christ. He has taken hold of you, stay in Him. God’s provision is within His presence. Stay in alignment with God. John 15:4-5 – you are not the vine, you are only a branch and you need to stay connected to the vine. Your place is in Christ.
