A church for all nations

Youth

Here at Rock Christian Centre we have a lively and diverse group of young people who are really encouraged to get involved with the church family. Several of them play/sing in the worship team, help out on kid’s work and operate the projector on a Sunday morning. We also have different groups for teenagers and young people to get involved with.

Rock Solid takes place during the service on a Sunday morning (upstairs in the lounge) for those aged 11-16 years. We play games and do activities alongside studying the Bible and helping each other to grow in faith.

For those aged 11-18 years we have the RCC Rock Steady Youth group, which meets at 7:00pm on Friday evening in the youth room at Rock Christian Centre. Each week we are looking at different ‘subjects’, we will also have time for some fun such as play a game, watch a movie or play on the Xbox. We’d love for you to join us. Catch up with us on Instagram.

We also have bigger events, like trips to the cinema or a restaurant, parties and film nights at the church. We also like to get involved with other things that are happening in Sheffield and beyond. We attend Glory Revolution, a night for teenagers to head to the O2 Academy and hear Christian bands and the gospel message. We also take a large group from RCC every year to Soul Survivor, a nationwide event aimed at teenagers. We always have a lot of fun at Soul Survivor which is a great place for young people to meet with God, spend time with other young Christians and learn more about the Bible.

If you would like to get involved with any of the events mentioned above or would simply like a bit more information please feel free to contact
