A time for everything

Genesis 8:22

There are some laws that God has put in place that will never cease. They will always be in place as long as the earth remains in place.

Isaiah 43:15-18

Forget what has happened in the past. Do not get caught in no man’s land between to past and the future. Remember God has done great things, but don’t live in the past, look to what God is going to do in the future.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-12

God has set patterns in motion. Sometimes we can be on one side and then on the other side of the time God has set for us. We need to look through through God’s eyes when we interact with others. We do not know what season they are going through. They are important reasons for going through each season. When plants seem to die they can actually be getting ready for the next season. Do not get bogged down by the season you are in. Be ready in season and out of season. Can you recognise which season you are in? We are not told to jump over the bad seasons, but to go through them. Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Seasons will come and go and God’s timing is perfect. He knows best in all things. Sometimes we just don’t know why things are happening, but God wants us to have faith and trust in Him. We need to meet God in the time He gives us today.

There are times that are going to be tough this year and there are times that are going to be joyful. We need to discern what season we are in. We need to trust the rhythm that God has set in place. We need to act with courage and approach God and be all that He wants us to be. When we cannot trace God’s hand we must trust His heart.
