A church for all nations

Bio

Married to an amazing woman. Sally and I have three beautiful girls who are growing up far too fast. God has very clearly called me to Rock Christian Centre, to get to this point I have been on an incredible life journey.  Elim Christian Centre, Rotherham has been the church I have been brought up in, my parents and grandparents all holding office in the church, spending 10 years working at Elim. Clearly called to be an Elder there for 7 years, Worship leader and coordinator of media for about 15 years along with many other responsibilities for evangelism and men’s ministry.

Completing Elim’s ‘Church training program’ in 1989, in 2007 I completed Elim’s ‘Licence to Minister’ accredited course; I am also enrolled on the web based ‘School of Biblical Evangelism’. After attending the ‘National day of prayer’ at Birmingham’s NEC I started the Ascension Trust initiative ‘Street Pastors’ in Rotherham in 2010 with full backing from local authorities and many of Rotherham’s church’s, I coordinated this initiative with volunteers from many different church’s in and around Rotherham for nearly 10 years.

As well as being assistant Pastor at RCC I also oversee a fantastic worship team and all aspects of media, Safeguarding, the church website, Events management, Prayer meetings, Growth Groups with Tricia, The Alpha course, Churchsuite and private hire to mention just a few.

In 2015 I took my eldest two daughters to Zimbabwe on a mission to help with some of the work my Auntie Christine does out there. Recently I am overjoyed that my youngest daughter also went out to Zimbabwe for a month in July 2023 to assist in some of the projects there.

I love socialising and spending time with my friends and family, always happy to spend a night with either a Curry, Kebab or something very similar, because of this I try to spent time road cycling, in July 2014 I completed a sponsored 100k cycle for Elim missions to then progressing a month later to do 100 miles in less than 12 hours over the North York Moors. In May 2023, in order to raise money for my youngest daughter to bless people out in Zimbabwe I cycled from Morecambe to Scarborough, 130 miles in one day, with a group of 6 friends.
