Bitrus Amos

Bitrus hails from North-Eastern Nigeria. Born to retired civil servants, Bitrus is married to his wife – Angela, and blessed with three lovely boys. While in post-primary school, Bitrus surrendered his life to Christ and got baptised in 1999. In Nigeria, Bitrus attends the Evangelical Church of West Africa (Family Church) and Assemblies Of God Church Nigeria. He was an Elder at Assemblies of God Church and also a Patron of Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS). Before moving to Sheffield in 2016, Bitrus started his career as an
academic Staff in Gombe State University, Nigeria in 2010. He recently completed his Doctoral Programme at the University of Sheffield and now works as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Sheffield University Management School. Bitrus’ anchored bible verse is in Galatians
2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me”.
