The believer’s blessed hope

Revelation 21:3-5 (NKJV)

There is a link between the first coming of Jesus and His second coming. There are more references to the second Advent of Jesus than there are to the first. What will the second Advent be like?

Heaven is God’s temporary dwelling place. His plan was always to live amongst His creation. The greatest punishment of the fall was for mankind to be cast out from the presence of God. The gift of God in Jesus is God coming to live amongst us. At the second coming God will come and dwell with His people forever. There will be a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness will dwell (2 Peter 3:13).
